It enables business intelligence, reporting, and integration tools to connect to SalesLogix and run SQL-based queries—and, where permitted, updates—against CRM data. By presenting the CRM schema in a relational form, it supports common operations such as joins, filtering, sorting, and parameterized commands while maintaining data integrity and transactional consistency.
